Our membership is currently at maximum capacity we are unable to accept new member sign ups at this time. Please check back or contact us to be notified via email when openings become available. A 2024 USAW card and SafeSport certification is required to sign up and become a DWC member.

Required steps to attend your first meetup and become a DWC member:

  1. Go to the USA Wrestling Membership Login Page

    • Purchase or renew your USAW athlete membership.

    • Complete any SafeSport education requirements.

    • NOTE: If you already have a current 2024 USAW Card, it is valid to wrestle at DWC and you do not need to purchase another card.

  2. Complete our 2023-2024 Club Membership Form (link will be provided here when accepting new sign ups).

  3. Click here to email us a copy of your 2024 USAW card. Once we have received your membership form and verified your USAW card you will receive an email inviting you to attend a meetup and become a member.

  4. Pay your club dues after attending your first meetup (see below for more information on DWC dues and USAW fees).

Denver Wrestling Club Dues

Denver Wrestling Club exists due to the dedication of our all volunteer coaching staff. They allow our club to offer an affordable and fun way for members to learn and practice amateur freestyle wrestling. Below are DWC dues and USAW fees for the 2023-2024 season:

USA Wrestling Membership/USAW Card
$65.00 annually

  • DWC club dues will be invoiced after attending your first meetup and are due in full on or before attending your second meetup.

  • Club dues cover attendance to all weekly meetups in a season and our annual three day adult wrestling camp in May.

  • USAW membership cards expire each year on August 31st and must be renewed annually.

  • Everyone attending a club meetup must possess a 2024 USAW membership card to be on the mats - NO EXCEPTIONS!

  • DWC members with a USAW card will receive:

    • Full mat privileges

    • Club tee shirt

    • Bi-monthly subscription to USA Wrestler magazine

    • Secondary insurance provided by USA Wrestling.

Wrestling Requirements

Denver Wrestling Club is open to anybody over the age of 18 with an interest in learning and practicing the sport of freestyle wrestling. This includes wrestlers of all skill levels irrespective of height, weight, race, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or physical disability.

Wrestler requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years old

  • Have purchased a 2024 USAW card and completed safe sport training

  • Commit to attending as many of our weekly Thursday night open mat and training sessions as possible

Club Wrestling Meetups

During season, Denver Wrestling Club holds weekly wrestling meetups every Thursday evening in the wrestling room at Denver South High School. Wrestling meetups consist of group warmups, technique training and drilling with our coaches (full group, small group, and one and one), live wrestling, wrestling games, and plenty of open mat time.

Wrestling Gear

What do I wear? Proper attire for our weekly wrestling meetups includes:

  • Wrestling shoes (mandatory)

  • Gym shorts, sweats or leg tights, wrestling singlet, tee shirt or rash guard

  • Other protective gear as needed, such as kneepads, ear or mouth guards

Supporting Memberships

Denver Wrestling Club offers non-wrestling supporting memberships for those who want to support our club without getting onto the mat. Supporting memberships are $50.00 per season. If you would like to become a supporting member please contact us.

Wrestling Tournaments

Participation of club members in open/adult wrestling tournaments sanctioned by USAW/WWB or any other governing body is voluntary.
